Hydr8 Ceramic Coating is a TEOS-based ceramic coating that is easy to apply while adding gloss, slickness, and durable protection. The TEOS (Tetraethyl Orthosilicate) formulation helps reduce clogging and provides exceptional fracturing resistance, making this coating reliable and user-friendly for both enthusiasts and professional detailers.

How to Apply Hydr8 Ceramic Coating:

  • Start with a clean and dry surface.
  • Wipe down with DIY Detail panel prep or apply C6 APP.
  • Wearing gloves, in a well-ventilated area, 8-10 drops to the applicator pad to prime. Then 1-2 drops per panel.
  • Working in a circular motion apply the Hydr8 to a small area ( a front fender for example).
  • With Hydr8 you can apply to the vehicle. Then return and level within 30 minutes of application.
  • Observe the surface, as the coating begins to cross-link to the paint, the coating will transition from a liquid to what looks like an oil slick on water.
  • When 50% of the surface turns back to clear, start leveling the coating.
  • With a short nap towel, lightly wipe the surface. If the towel is dragging or is getting wet, wait 1 min more.
  • Level with an Edgeless Pearl microfibre towel and follow behind with a Eagle Edgeless 600 microfibre towel.
  • The coating needs 1 hour before exposure to rain.
  • 3 days before you can wash with DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash.
